Newfoundland War Memorial Park Beaumont Hamel.
This park embraces the ground over which the Newfoundlanders fought on the first of July 1916. and was purchased and constructed under the direction of Lt.-Col. T. Nangle and R.H.K. Cochius, Esq. Landscape Architect, from funds subscribed by the government and women of Newfoundland, and was opened by Field Marshal Earl Haig, K.T., G.C.B., O.M. late Commander in Chief of the British Expeditionary Force, on June 7th 1925.

Ce parc comprend le terrain sur lequel les Terre-neuviens ont combattu le premier juillet 1916. il a ete achete et construit sous la direction du Lt.-Col. T. Nangle et R.H.K. Cochius, Esq. Architecte Paysagiste a l'aide de fonds souscrits par le gouvernement et les femmes de Terre-Neuve et a ete inaugure le sept juin 1925 par le Field Marshal Earl Haig K.T, G.C.B., O.M., ancien Commandant en Chef de l'Armee Britannique.
