Mary's Tavern
Constructed in 1907 by Stanley and Antonia Kwapis
Operated as a grocery store until forced to close by the Great Depression in the 1930s
In 1933, Stanley and Antonia's daughter, Mary (Kwapis) Luzenski opened Mary's Tavern
The business was sold to Mary's sons Bob and Leonard "Ike" Luzenski in 1947
Kat Steinbrecher purchased the tavern in 2020, retained the name Mary's, thereby making it one of the longest running businesses in Gaylord.

In 2020, Mary's Tavern became Mary's Stein Haus focusing more on being a restaurant serving German food. In 2024, the restaurant closed temporarily. It is supposed to reopen 2 blocks south.
