Bomb Attack
The morning of New Year's Eve 1944, 12 British bombers attacked the Gestapo headquarters on Victoria Terrace. The target was not hit. On the other hand, many apartment buildings and a full tram of 78 Norwegians and 27 Germans perished, affecting over 1,000 households.
