Inscription. Style: Greek Revival with Italianate influences, built in 1857.

Listing: National Register of Historic Places, 1980

Builder & Original owner: William Barnett, a prosperous merchant, elected mayor of Delphi in 1851.

Current Owners: Alan and Jacqueline Kirchoff. Alan is an environmental, health & safety manager at a large local aluminum extrusions plant and Jaqueline is a local business owner.

Other Owners: Samuel Seawright, Presbyterian minister from 1879 to 1889
• Henry Wilson, newspaper publisher and owner of Metzger Lumber Company; Mindwell Crampton Wilson, journalist
• Joseph and Joyce Fowler, owner of Fowler Furniture store then located on East Main Street, great-grandson of Moses Fowler of Lafayette, builder of the Fowler House.
• Doug and Sandy Davies, local auctioneers
• Mike Sanders and Shari Rodriguez, founding members of Delphi Preservation Society
• Dick and Karyl Traeger from 2005 to 2020, local business owners.

Historic Facts: Built on the site of the 1828 log structure that was the first schoolhouse.
