Inscription. Dedicated to the firefighters of Volunteer Fire Company #1 of Pawtuxet, RI who faithfully, diligently, and actively served this community from 1891 until 1995. They were summoned to each alarm of fire by the steeple bell of the Pawtuxet Baptist Church.
