This monument commemorates the reactivation of the eighty-ninth infantry division at Camp Carson, Colorado, July 15, 1942 and its service in World War II.
It is dedicated by their comrades in arms to the memory of the men who wore the Rolling W with honor and who died for their country on the battlefields of Europe.
