This Tree originated from seed collected from the Parent Trees located on Ellis Island at the base of the Statue of Liberty.
This tree was donated as a seedling in 1989 to the Williamsport Arbor Day Committee by the Ohio Dept. of Agriculture with the cooperation of the United States Park Service.
Plaque was donated by the Williamsport Sorosis Club on Arbor Day 1994.
