1. Garfield Wiley Cabin Marker

Inscription. Characters have always been Mr. Lowell's favorite kind of people and there were none more colorful than Garfield Wiley. Ol' Garfield was a hired hand for the Bay Williams farm but spent most of his time hunting and fishing. This log house came from the old Route 66 highway. Donated by the Koonty family of La Russell, it was move[d] to Red Oak II and restored in 1990. This house is currently a private residence.
