Representing nearly 200,000 engineers worldwide, the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineers (AIME) and its four Member Societies have a united heritage of service since its founding in Wilkes-Barre, PA in 1871. AIME looks to the future with ambition to improve the profession and quality of life for all.
