Vietnam War August 5, 1964 - May 7, 1975
Over three million men and women in the United States armed forces served in Vietnam during the war. More than three hundred thousand were wounded and over fifty eight thousand were killed. More than 1500 still remain missing.

I'm tired and sick of war its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, more vengeance, more desolation. War is hell.
William Tecumseh Sherman June 19, 1879
