A 155 mm artillery shell hurtles out of the barrel of a 11th Marine Regiment M-198 howitzer during live fire and maneuver training on November 20, 2000, at the Al Hamra Training Area in the United Arab Emirates. U.S. Marines from the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) are deployed from the USS Tarawa (LHA-1) to the training area for Exercise Iron Magic.
