1. Carpenter Tower Marker
El Ranchito de las Colinas, the Little Ranch in the Hills, was the name of the family cattle ranch owned by the Carpenter family which has become modern day Las Colinas. Ben H. Carpenter (1924-2006) was the family visionary that would shape Las Colinas and the Urban Center into a master planned Class A development by creating lakes and canals that followed the path of existing creeks and setting forth restrictive covenants to ensure quality development. In his honor, we affectionately refer to this tower as "Carpenter Tower".
