Excerpt: Abraham Bas, butcher by profession, was a son of Hartog Bas and Sientje Peperwortel. He married Chaje Trobuschicht from Odessa in Amsterdam on 22 May 1907, a daughter of Moisje Trobuschicht en Hanna Mochalik. The couple had three children, of whom two presumably have survived the war .
