Overview (in translation): The English Quarter was a residential complex at Solli Square at Drammensveien 26-42 in Oslo. It was built between 1882 and 1886 according to drawings by the architects Bernhard Christoph Steckmest and Paul Due, and in its time was among the city's most exclusive residences. The English Quarter was demolished in the early 1960s to make way for the so-called Ind-Eks house, "House of Industry and Exports".(Submitted on August 1, 2024.)
