Inscription. In 1882, this site served as the J. Ryttenburg and Sons store, the largest store in Sumter. In 1913, the Bank of Sumter constructed the current, beautiful classic revival sandstone encased building. In 1932, the structure came to House Broadman Realty and later Bradham Insurance.
