1. “my men are scattered God knows where” Marker

Inscription.
General Arnold ordered Colonel Morgan's riflemen and light infantry to harass the British then marching toward this farm. When the riflemen arrived here, they drove the British back - at first. Then Brigadier-General Simon Fraser's reinforcements coming in from the west outflanked the Americans. Morgan's riflemen retreated in disorder. The British held the field - but this battle was only just beginning.

With his riflemen on the run, Morgan cried out “I am ruined, by G…d! Major Morris ran on so rapidly with the front, that they were beaten before I could get up with the rear, and my men are scattered God knows where.”
