Inscription.
"The Hive" was designed and built by students in Chelsea Tinklenberg's sculpture course (ART 222) in the Spring 2023 semester, in collaboration with Elise Spontarelli of Vector Space. The class took place at Vector Space, Lynchburg's community makerspace, where all phases of the sculpture were built. After several variations and prototypes, students created a hive design, bringing color and creativity to campus. Funding for this project was made possible through the Innovation Collaborative.
