We honor the service and sacrifice of our fallen Yukla 27 aircrew with this lasting symbol of respect for the loss suffered by their families, friends in the American and Canadian Forces and the Alaska community. Let the following symbolism be a poignant reminder of that loss.

The monument, the eagle cage and these grounds have been combined and renamed Yukla Memorial Park, situated in the heart of Elmendorf AFB where it will remain forever.
