1. Circa 1924 Marker
Inscription. 1830 – Part of Nathan Boone's survey of the Commons.

1831 – Leased to Andrew Doriac to farm. Lawrence to Randolph/Kingshighway to Fifth Street.

1836 – Purchased by Bazillie Pallardie for $376.00.

1837 – Brazillie Pallardie sold all but one acre along Lawrence from 5th Street to Kingshighway for $150.00 to John F. McKnight. Mr. Pallardie retained that one acre for himself.

1857 –Heirs of Matilda McKnight (John's widow) subdivided the property and it is known as McKnight's Subdivision.

1859 – This lot from 5th Street to Kingshighway was granted to Ellen Halford (nee McKnight).

1918 – Both Fred Fisher and Elmer Bradenbeck, the next two owners of this property, were veterans of World War I.

1924 – This part of the lot facing Kingshighway was subdivided and became 1200 North Benton and this house was built. The style is a National Folk House. The first owner of this house was Fred W. Fellner and his wife Linda (nee Bushmeyer) and 2 children. Fred was an electrician.
