1. Veterans Freedom Park Wall or Tears Monument
A Fallen Soldier Battlefield Cross sculpture is centered in front of the Wall of Tears. It is visible on the left of this photo.
The mission of the Veterans Freedom Park is to provide a peaceful, serene setting in which people will be able to learn, reflect, remember and honor all veterans. Our goal is to educate the public of past and present wars and conflicts the United States participated in; and allow space for future conflicts. It will also memorialize veterans of Central Michigan who gave their lives in the line of duty.
