Fairgrounds History
The Administration Building consisted of the fair office, Commercial Building and Home Activities Department displays.
The building was a WPA project constructed in 1940.
The commercial display space was 100'x90' and was used as cold storage in the off-season
In the fall of 1992 and the spring-summer of 1993, there was an abundance of rain making it a challenge to complete the new Century Avenue fairgrounds site in time for the first fair in August 1993.
Erected 2018 by McLeod County Fair.
