Chuck Morgan. Texas Rangers Executive and Public Address Announcer. The voice and in-game entertainment wizard at three Arlington ballparks for nearly four decades. Has not missed a game as a Major League Public Address Announcer since assuming the role on April 4, 1983. Celebrated his 3000th consecutive game on September 26, 2020 in career at Arlington Stadium, The Ballpark in Arlington, and Globe Life Field. Donated his microphone from that milestone game to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. His longtime passion for baseball and his objective to inform and entertain the ballpark guests has resulted in an in-game fan experience that is unrivaled in the Major Leagues. Is responsible for the creation of the Dot Race, Texas Legends Dash, Texas Rangers Captain, the team's Annual Fan Fest event, and countless other promotions and in-park activities. His ability to connect with the fans from his main concourse PA booth at Globe Life Field has enhanced the park experience for thousands. Has also worked in marketing, partnerships, and broadcasting roles since joining the Rangers organization in 1983. Continues to make numerous public appearances for the club. Has also been the in-park voice of the Nashville Sounds (1978-80) and Kansas City Royals (2002). Joined the Rangers after an award-winning career as a country music radio host in Nashville. Inducted August 14, 2021.
