Inscription. This 1936 Texas Centennial marker was broken by Hurricane Ike in September 2008 and relocated in June 2011 from De Zavala Point, across Buffalo Bayou from the San Jacinto Battleground.

Dedicated this 13th day of June A.D. 2011-A.L. 6011 by Lorenzo de Zavala Lodge No. 1397 A.F. & A.M.
