The outstanding feature is that it is built up out of the ground on a cut stone foundation with exposed windows. The steps lead to the first floor living area. Architectural features include Queen Anne porch posts and trim, transomed doors, brick dentil work at the roof line and brick fan-shaped window lintels.

3. Circa 1891 Marker
Circa 1891 Marker slightly more readable in January. The good news is while I was there on the 7th, the [new?] owner was there supervising some sewer and basement work. But I don't know if the owners of these historical houses are responsible for maintaining the marker. Probably more likely that it's the Saint Charles Commons Neighborhood Association placed it there and would be on the dot to maintain them.
