Inscription.
"In the future when your children ask you 'What do these stones mean? Tell them....." Joshua 4:6

In 1838 people of the Evangelical faith came to this area and built churches at Rainham, Stoney Creek and Selkirk. In 1965 these churches joined together and built Faith Centennial. In 1968 Faith Centennial joined with the United Church of Canada. In 2000 this cairn was built as a memorial to what God has done in the past and to give hope for the future. The stones in the cairn were given by members of Faith Centennial United and represent things for which they are thankful. Praise God for His goodness and mercy to each generation.

Dedicated June 11, 2000

Erected 2000 by Faith Centennial United Church.
