1. 1400 North Second Street Marker
Inscription. Laura Ebeling Rohlfing House (c.1887-1890). Story and a half duplex. Remained in the family until 1975. Common in design with its wooden porch, paired gables, fieldstone foundation and dentil cornice. Brick herringbone sidewalk is original. Location of the “original” Frenchtown Museum founded by Richard Vinson.
