1. Sewer Flush Tank Marker

Inscription. The Post had a sewer system similar to the one above considered "modern" in those days, which drained into Tampa Bay through several eight-inch pipes. The sewer cleaner in front of you is known as a flush tank. There are several of these tanks located on the island. There was a constant flow of water into the flush tank and then through the sewer lines which kept the sewage flowing properly.
