Regarding Sequoia Union High School. This is actually the second site for the high school, the first being the site of the Fox Theater on Broadway. That building housed the elementary school and the high school. In 1904 a new high school was built at the site of this marker. In 1924 the school moved again to its current site on El Camino Real.
