1. Dillard Store and Post Office Marker
Inscription. This store, built by John Wilhite and Jim Adams in 1892, also served as the old Dillard post office at a time when this community had a mill, school, blacksmith shop and other buildings. Most of the contents you see originated from the Theo. Langenberg store in Hope, Gasconade County, Missouri. These items were commonly found in rural stores at the turn of the 20th century.
