West Mifflin in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania — The American Northeast (Mid-Atlantic)
Racer
National Historic District
Built in 1927 and designed by John Miller, the Racer is the last wooden Mφbius coaster in North America - that is, the ride has one continuous track. The train that begins on the right finishes on the left, and vice versa. This is Kennywood's second "Racer." The first, opened in 1910, was removed to make way for this more-thrilling, "snappy" ride.
Erected by Kennywood Amusement Park.
