The Auto Race, also called the Auto Ride, was built in 1930 by Traver Engineering from Beaver Falls. The cars originally traveled over little hills and dips that eventually disappeared. The track layout otherwise remains the same. The Auto Race is the last remaining ride of its kind in the world. It is also legendary documentarian Rick Sebak's favorite ride.
