He has taught ceramics, beginning drawing, and advanced critique at the Midland Center for the Arts, and has judged many art fairs and shows throughout Michigan. He received the Best in Show award at the national juried ViewPoint 52 art show sponsored by the Cincinnati Art Club, among other awards and shows.
