Inscription. Bob Segar's first national success came after the Bob Seger System signed with Capitol Records and "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man" became a hit single in 1968. It took eight more years of hard work, but Seger finally established himself as a major rock artist in 1976 after he released the "Live Bullet" album, recorded at Cobo Hall in Detroit, and then the "Night Moves" studio album and hit single of the same name. Bob Seger has sold over 75 million records in a career that has spanned six decades. He was voted into the Michigan Rock and Roll Legends Hall of Fame for the first time in 2005.

Erected by Michigan Rock and Roll Legends.
