Paul Percy Harris (1868-1947) founded the first Rotary Club in Chicago in 1905, and a growing Bay City received its first club charter in 1915.
This statue is dedicated to the Pioneers of Rotary, but especially to the memory of Mr. Harris, who made the world a better place through his vision and guidance.
