1. Lou Brock Sports Complex Marker
Inscription. The Lou Brock Sports Complex is named in honor of baseball great Lou Brock. Brock played for the St. Louis Cardinals from 1964 to 1979 and was inducted in the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1985. He is best known for holding the major league record for stolen bases for almost a decade. Brock helped the Cardinals to National League pennants in 1964, 1967, and 1968 and to World Series championships in 1964 and 1967, and he was a six-time all star. The Lou Brock Sports Complex is home to the baseball and softball programs.
