1. Enoch Ward Chapel Marker

Inscription.
Across the street to the east is the old Enoch church, built from 1909 to 1911 and dedicated by LDS Apostle Richard R. Lyman on June 28, 1918. Charles Edward Jones was called as the first bishop in Enoch. The church was built at a cost of $6,000 on land donated by John Lee Jones and included two large rooms, a library, and a bell tower. The building was enlarged and renovated in approximately 1952.
