Inscription.  
1465-1805 Sitz der Amtleute des Domstifts Konstanz, die von hier aus die Besitzungen des Bistums in der Umgebung Zürichs verwalteten.
Seit dem 13. Jahrhundert standen drei Steinhäuser auf der Parzelle.
1711-1714 Vereinigung der drei Häuser unter einem dach durch einen umfassenden Umbau unter Amtmann Johann Konrad Hess (Jahreszahl über der Eingangstür). damals erhielt das Haus seine heutige Fassadengestaltung.

Unter Denkmalschutz seit 1971

(English translation:)
1465-1805 Seat of the officials of the cathedral chapter of Konstanz, who administered the diocese's properties in the Zurich area from here.

Since the 13th century, three stone houses have stood on the plot.

1711-1714 The three houses were united under one roof through extensive reconstruction under bailiff Johann Konrad Hess (year above the entrance door). At that time, the house received its current facade design.
