Altstadt in Zürich, Switzerland — Central Europe (the Alps)
Alte Burg
The oldest parts date back to the 13th century, and with its half-gable, which is typical of Zurich's old town, the medieval house leans against the even older neighboring house at Rindermarkt 21.
The house name has been documented since the 15th century and could go back to the then owner Hans Altenburg, who lived here around 1430.
