The water tower was built in 1946. It stands 160 feet tall. • The tower is owned by the City of Bryan. • 8 Dum-Dums flavors are on the tower. • Spangler Candy Company was founded in Bryan in 1906. • Award-winning artist Eric Henn hand painted the tower. • 251 gallons of paint were used. • It took 1,600 hours to paint the tower in 2022. • Dum-Dums were created in 1924. • Each Dum-Dum is 65 feet tall. • The tower holds 400,000 gallons of water. • 75 million Dum-Dums would fill the water tower. • Visit us at Spangler Candy World on the square in Bryan!
