Founded in 1963, the Jack S. Blanton Museum of Art is one of the largest university art museums in the U.S. with 189,340 square feet devoted to temporary exhibitions, permanent collection galleries, storage, administrative offices, classrooms, a print study room, an auditorium, shop, and cafe. Recognized for its modern and contemporary American and Latin American art, Italian Renaissance and Baroque paintings, encyclopedic collection of prints and drawings, and Ellsworth Kelly's Austin, the Blanton offers thought provoking, visually arresting, and personally moving encounters with art.

Waterloo Greenway Conservancy
The Waterloo Greenway Conservancy, in a public-private partnership with the City of Austin, created an extraordinary urban park system and a restored Waller Creek, for the benefit of all, Running from Waterloo Park at 15th Street to Lady Bird Lake, the Waller Creek parks district include more than 35-acres of connected urban parks and public open space, and more than three miles of new hike and bike trails, along with engaging art and educational programming. Waterloo Park unites our neighbors, honors different cultures in our community, and commemorates this green space as a common ground where we all come together.
