Jack S. Blanton Museum of Art
Founded in 1963, the Jack S. Blanton Museum of Art is one of the largest university art museums in the U.S. with 189,340 square feet devoted to temporary exhibitions, permanent collection galleries, storage, administrative offices, classrooms, a print study room, an auditorium, shop, and cafe. Recognized for its modern and contemporary American and Latin American art, Italian Renaissance and Baroque paintings, encyclopedic collection of prints and drawings, and Ellsworth Kelly's Austin, the Blanton offers thought provoking, visually arresting, and personally moving encounters with art.
