Inscription.
On this site the former Immaculate Conception Church and School stood from 1924 until it was razed in 2018. Rev. Michael Kosko celebrated the first Mass at Midnight, on Christmas Eve, 1924. The last Mass was celebrated on Sunday, March 2, 2014, at 8:15 a.m. The School was opened under the direction of the Sisters of Saints Cyril and Methodius of Sacred Heart Villa, Danville, PA., in 1926 and functioned for 59 years until its closing in 1985. The various sports teams were affectionately known as the Crusaders.
