2. St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church World War II Memorial
services in German. For a period of the early 2000s, the church was also home to the Forest Park Historical Society. However, the St. Peter's congregation shuttered in 2012 amid dwindling membership, and the church building was acquired by Mount Moriah Baptist Church of Christ.

Translated from German into English, the inscription reads: "Evangelical Lutheran St. Peter's Church, 1899." The village landmark was for a period also the home of the Forest Park Historical Society, until the original St. Peter's closed in 2013.
