1. This Tree was Planted In Remembrance of the Events of September 11, 2001 Memorial
Inscription. The United States Department of Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld recognized the "comfort and assistance Georgetown Law provided the family members of the heroes who died in the line of duty at the Pentagon. These efforts made a positive difference in the lives of these family members during their darkest days, and will always be remembered with utmost gratitude."
 
Erected 2002 by Georgetown University Law School Class of 2002.
