1. Rutherford College Water Corporation Office Marker

Inscription. The Rutherford College Water Corporation was established in 1963 as a non-profit private water corporation serving the community of Rutherford College and surrounding areas. Financed by a loan from the farmer's home administration, construction began in 1964 and was completed the following year. The service area has tripled in size since 1965, and is still expanding. Nine local water users make up the board of directors. This office was completed in 1966, expanded in 1985. (Marker Number 5.)
