1. Spring Green Primitive Baptist Church Marker
Inscription. After having been established in 1811, the present church was built in 1878. When the Kehukee Association met, with the 5,000 attending, they declared it the largest church in the Association. It was one of five churches with an upper balcony where African American members sat. Elder C.B. Hassell was pastor from 1847 to 1880.
