1. Clarksburg City Hall Marker
Inscription.
The former Clarksburg Municipal Building was designed by Charles L. Hickman and was built in 1888. The building was an example of the late 19th Century Victorian Eclecticism. It served as the Post Office from 1888-1932; the Federal Building from 1932-1966; and the Municipal Building from 1966-1997.
