1795 Spanish Cannon
This cannon captured in May 1898 from Spanish forces by U. S. Navy, under command of Admiral George Dewey near Manila, Philippine Islands. Unveiled in Clarksburg on July 4, 1899 by Custer Post No. 8 G.A.R., placed here in 1932. Cast in Seville, Spain May 9, 1795 and weighs 6,283 lbs.
