Scout Master of Troop 11 in Charlevoix for thirty-three years. He influenced many young lives through his guidance and unconditional friendship.
President of Charlevoix Historical Society at the time of his death. His efforts were instrumental in the acquisition of the Depot for the Historical Society.
Louie was successful in life because he understood that happiness is not based on possessions, power, or prestige but on relationships with other people. He never passed judgment on people but accepted them for who they were. He was a true hero to the people who knew him and his memory will live on in their hearts.
