A member of the Resistance since the summer of 1940, with Henri d'Astier de la Vigerie he created the “Franco-Belgian network” from which the Orion network 1940-1945 emerged.
He was integrated into the Saint-Jacques network in May 1941, arrested, sentenced to death, and then decapitated with an axe in Cologne, Germany, on October 15, 1943.
