1. General Rose Monument Marker

Inscription.
Maurice Rose was one of the highest ranking and most distinguished Jewish soldiers in U.S. history. Prior to joining the Army, he was raised in Denver, attended religious school, Denver public elementary schools, and East High School. He was killed in Germany by enemy fire five weeks before the end of World War II. He was buried at the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten, Holland.
